Dr Beth Richardson is a UK trained Dentist and Specialist Orthodontist, practising exclusively in Orthodontics since 2007. She is highly experienced in treating both children and adults and is skilled in using all types of braces, including clear aligners and fixed braces.
Dr Beth has had a varied career in dentistry leading up to specialising in Orthodontics – she qualified from Guy’s Hospital (University of London) in 1999, following which she gained experience in Oral Surgery in hospital and then in general practice. Beth joined the British Army as a general dentist in 2001 and worked in the UK, Europe and further afield. Dr Beth was selected by the Armed Forces to train as a Specialist Orthodontist and they sponsored her to attend University of Birmingham to complete her three years of Orthodontic training. Alongside this training she completed a Masters in Philosophy, researching how bracket removal can damage enamel tooth surfaces.
Dr Beth is passionate about oral health and how having orthodontic treatment to correct bite issues and straightening teeth, enhances her patients oral and general health, as well as their overall wellbeing. She absolutely loves owning and running Basingstoke Orthodontics and is so proud of her team and the service they deliver. She is also supported in the business by her husband, Bertie.
Dr Beth is a Platinum Elite Invisalign provider – she has treated thousands of orthodontic patients with both clear aligners and fixed braces. Dr Beth keeps up to date with all the latest developments with regular attendance at national and international meetings.
When not busy running the practice, she keeps fit and is enjoying her new found passion for golf – planning early for her retirement! She also enjoys her camping and skiing holidays with her husband and two children.
