Clear Aligners in Fleet

Traditional braces may not be a desirable option for those seeking a means to straighten and align their teeth due to concerns over the visibility of wires and brackets. As a result, some individuals may have opted for extensive restorative work instead of orthodontic treatment. However, Invisalign has revolutionized the field of orthodontics by utilizing nearly invisible clear aligners, making it a more practical option for many.

Invisalign offers a subtle and effective solution by gently guiding teeth into alignment with clear aligners. Additionally, with the aid of advanced technology, such as the Itero scanner, we can digitally showcase the transformation from the current state of teeth to the desired, aligned outcome.

The Invisalign Process

Initial Consultation

At the initial consultation at our orthodontic practice near Fleet you will meet with our orthodontists to assess your suitability for Invisalign treatment and answer any questions you may have. We will take impressions and photographs of your teeth to establish whether the treatment is right for you.

Treatment Plan

Once you are onboard, your orthodontist will take you through your personal, detailed treatment plan. Using ClinCheck® treatment software, we will be able to produce a 3d simulation of the teeth straightening results before you have even started the treatment.

Aligners are made

Next a series of custom clear aligners will be created personalised to your teeth. Each invisalign aligner is slightly different, moving your teeth gradually in the desired position. You will wear your aligners all the time apart from eating and cleaning.

Follow Up

We will see you every 4-6 weeks at our orthodontic practice near Fleet to monitor the movement of your teeth until they have reached the desired position. On average this is 6-12 months. After treatment, you will get a retainer to keep teeth in the correct position.

Clear Aligners in Fleet

Our orthodontic practice in Fleet offers Invisalign aligners, which are designed digitally and then custom-fitted to each patient. You can change the aligners yourself every few weeks at home, gradually progressing towards your desired tooth movement. Our team will review your progress every 10-12 weeks at the practice to ensure the treatment is on track.

For optimal results, it is recommended that you wear the aligners for at least 20 hours a day. However, they can be removed for eating or special occasions. The aligners are virtually invisible, so most people won’t even notice that you are undergoing Invisalign treatment.

The duration of Invisalign treatment can vary from a few weeks to several months. During your consultation, we will estimate the treatment time, which will allow you to plan accordingly if you have any upcoming events, such as a wedding.

Frequently Asked Invisalign Questions

Our experienced orthodontists answer your frequently asked questions about Invisalign

Is Invisalign painful?

Invisalign uses very gently pressure to move teeth into alignment so there is very little discomfort. You will be aware of the aligners to start with but after a few days you will soon forget they are there.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment times depend on the type and amount of tooth movements we are needing to use. A simple crooked tooth may move within a matter of weeks, more complex movements may take several months. The beauty with this digital treatment planning is that we are able to estimate how long your treatment will take.

How much does Invisalign cost?

Invisalign aligners cost between £2000 and £4500 depending on the types  of movement required. Our team will spend time to ensure you have a good guide as to your treatment costs before you start any treatment.

Will I need to wear a retainer after Invisalign treatment?

After your Invisalign is complete, there remains a possibility that your teeth may move back towards their original position. This is called relapse. To stop this happening you will receive three sets of Vivero retainers with full instructions as to wear time.
